From Lahaina, take highway 30 east until just past the Maui Ocean Center. Turn south onto
highway 31, and head south past Kihei towards Wailea. Turn right onto Wailea Iki Drive, and then
left onto Wailea Alanui Drive. Keep heading south into Makena, and then right onto the Old Makena
Road down to the beach area.

Description

This beach is made up of a sand beach, rocky beach, and a small park that is nice
for picnics and gatherings. The shore slopes gently into the deeper water, and the
absence of a dramatic break make it ideal for children and families.
