Head east on highway 36 through Pa'ia along the coast. The beach is located just past the
golf course on the north side of the highway, well marked by signs.

Originally a company-developed recreational facility, the beach was converted to use
for the public in the 1960's.

Description
|

A beautiful beach with fine white sand just east of Kahului on highway 36. The parking area
and restrooms are about 50 yards just off the beach. A lifeguard is on duty in a tower off the beach,
which has some of the best surf for body boarding and surfing on the north coast of Maui. Beach is
adjacent to a Zen mission.
